Walnut Fudge Brownie Cookie

Love Crumbl, but don't have one near you or the money? Make this amazing copycat cookie. Based off the Walnut Fudge Brownie flavor, this cookie is gooey, crispy, and chocolaty-- every dessert lovers dream!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 c chocolate
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/3 tsp espresso powder
  • dash of salt
  • 1 1/3 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp white sugar
  • 1/2 egg
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla
  • chocolate chips to taste
  • your favorite hot fudge
  • chopped walnuts

Instructions

  • Melt the chocolate in the microwave for 25 second increments, stirring after each until completely melted. Set aside to slightly cool.
  • Using a handheld or stand mixer, beat the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together on medium-high speed until smooth and creamy. Add the eggs, vanilla extract, and peppermint extract. Beat on high for 2 minutes. Pour in the melted chocolate and mix on medium-high speed for 2 minutes, until well combined.
  • Add the flour, cocoa powder, espresso powder, baking powder, and salt. Combine on low.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F. As the oven preheats, cover and chill the dough in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
  • Mold the dough into one ball/disc. It will look like a hamburger. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
  • Put the cookie on a cooling rack. Spread on hot fudge, then sprinkle with walnuts!
