Hot Chocolate Bombs

Perfect for cold winter days, these hot chocolate bombs are a fun way to spice up everyone's favorite winter drink. They are super chocolaty and fun to be creative with!

Equipment

  • half-sphere silicone mold

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup chocolate wafers
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • marshmallows
  • peppermint candy

Instructions

  • Put your favorite chocolate, whether it be white, milk, or dark chocolate, and melt it on the stove or in the microwave for 20 second intervals.
  • Once melted, spoon or paint some chocolate in the mold and spread it around to create a thin layer. Put the chocolate in the freezer for 5 minutes ,then add another layer, making sure the top is thick. Freeze the chocolate again, then remove each half-sphere from the mold.
  • Fill half of the spheres with hot chocolate mix, marshmallows, candy, etc. Once filled, take the empty half and melt it on a hot skillet for a second. Attach to the filled half and refrigerate immediately.
  • Once each bomb/ball is made, drizzle with chocolate and decorate with sprinkles or candy!
  • Put the hot chocolate bomb in a mug and pour hot milk over it. Watch the bomb melt and the marshmallows explode. Enjoy!
