Homemade Banana Bread

Ingredients

  • 4-5 ripe bananas
  • 1 1/4 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1/2 cup butter softened
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 cup flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350F and grease a loaf pan.
  • Mash bananas in a bowl. Set aside for later.
  • Cream the brown sugar and butter together with mixer on medium speed for about 1-2 minutes. Add the banana, egg, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon. Beat with mixer until well combined.
  • Mix in the dry ingredients until smooth.
  • Add chocolate chips to your liking. The more the better! Spread the batter into the loaf pan.
  • Bake for 1 hr and 5 minutes or until golden brown and a knife goes through clean.
