While I could just post my favorite recipes on Instagram and Pinterest and let you guys find what is good for game day, I decided to make things easier and compile my top game day recipes. These range from appetizers to meals that are perfect for this football season!!
While I love buffalo chicken dip on game days, these mozzarella sticks put a nice twist on the classic dip, and are sometimes, dare I say, more satisfying. If you love buffalo chicken and the ooey gooiness of a mozzarella stick, then these are for you!
These meatballs come together rather quickly and can be made into mini meatballs for an appetizer or be used for meatball sandwiches! Perfect for those colder fall and winter tailgates.
If you want some delicious Mexican food while watching the big game, then look no further than these enchiladas. They come together fast are packed with flavor!
Sticking to easy meals, these crockpot tacos can be started in the morning and won’t need to be touched until the game starts! With everything being thrown in the crockpot, except for your favorite taco toppings, these are a great meal to make on gameday.
AHH a classic gameday food – BBQ. Nothing better than tender, juicy ribs and watching your favorite college football team take down an SEC school. These ribs may need the most attention out of the recipes on this list, but you won’t regret the time you spent making them.
If you have never tried a cheesesteak, but want to try something that taste’s close to the real thing, then make these slides. Made with a hoagie roll, shaved steak, salt, pepper, onions and American, there’s nothing more original than these cheesesteak sliders. Are you a whiz person? Then sub the American with whiz! Just don’t put peppers and mushrooms on 😉
Nachos are a classic game day app since they are so easy to make. These nachos come together quickly and have a substantial number of toppings. Perfect for when you want to eat game day appetizers as dinner and not a full-on dish.
It doesn’t have to be Oktoberfest to eat this delicious burger. The pretzel bun, beer cheese, and beef are bound to compliment whatever drink you’re chugging on game day.
If you want a delicious, but simple dessert, make these Chipwiches. In this case they don’t have to be patriotic, unless you’re a Patriots fan, then this recipe is perfect as is.
One of my favorite creations, Garlic Bread Chicken Parm Sandwiches are perfect for dinner or an appetizer. If you want the latter, make smaller chicken cutlets to create sliders.
Pizza is many peoples go to on gameday. Partly because we don’t have to cook it, but also because the greasy cheese is never better than when you’re cheering on your favorite team with 5 of your best friends. If you like pineapple and ham, then this must be your next game day pizza.
For those colder game days, warm up with these delicious hot chocolate bombs. They can easily be made in advance, so when your squad gets together you can pop them in hot milk and get cozy!
While I shared many delicious recipes from my blog, there are a few Instagram specific recipes that I also think are great for game day and deserve an honorable mention.
I do love a classic eggroll but taking an American favorite (buffalo chicken dip) and wrapping it into an eggroll wrapper, makes the ultimate game day food.
A FAVORITE game day dish, this buffalo chicken dip is portioned down for two people or one hungry person, like me! Serve it with chips, celery, carrots, or a spoon 😉
While it is much easier to go to the store and grab your favorite brand of potato chips, sometimes making them homemade, in the air fryer is the way to go. I love to season mine with Cajun seasoning
Follow along this reel to see how I make pulled buffalo chicken! I put mine of garlic bread to make a savory sandwich, but it’s perfect for wraps, salads, rice bowls, etc.
