Festive Peppermint Bark
- November 14, 2022
A simple and tasty holiday dessert, this homemade peppermint bark is one of my favorites to make with my mom during the holiday season. All you need is TWO, that’s right, only two ingredients — white chocolate wafers and peppermint candy. My mom and I love to go to a little candy shop in the area that supplies the town with amazing homemade wafers and green and red peppermint candy; but you can grab some high quality white chocolate and candy canes to create a similar bark!
the details of peppermint bark
Peppermint bark is one of the best treats to bring to a holiday party. Since it only consists of two ingredients, it comes together within minutes. The longest part is waiting for the chocolate to freeze. We love a quick recipe when it comes to the season of hustle and bustle.
Another thing I love about peppermint bark is it is kid friendly. You can have your kids help you make it or make it in molds for them. I used to be obsessed with my moms chocolate pops made in festive molds. I thought they were the best thing ever lol If you want to keep it simple though, all you have to do is spread the chocolate on a cookie sheet and break it apart once it’s set!
The final thing I love about peppermint bark is it can be used in other recipes. For example, you could make my Peppermint Bark Brownies. Some other recipes that peppermint bark can be added to are pancakes, hot chocolate and even cookies. For cookies, the peppermint bark would make a great coating!
Overall, if you want something that’s super easy to make and a crowd pleaser, then look no further than my peppermint bark!
